CCF’s summer recap

13th Aug 2025

We’re taking a moment to reflect on some of the latest milestones, people-focused initiatives and standout moments that have shaped the year so far at CCF. From exciting leadership news to new digital tools and fun-filled fundraising, there has been plenty to celebrate.

Welcoming our new Managing Director

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Knight as the new Managing Director of CCF.

Chris is no stranger to the business. With over 17 years of hands-on experience, from Branch Manager to Regional Director, he brings a wealth of knowledge, a deep understanding of our customers and a strong connection with our people. His leadership will focus on driving growth, supporting the trade and ensuring we continue to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Chris shared “I am proud to be taking the helm of CCF, a company that has supported me throughout my career. I understand the challenges of the current market and how those affect our business,, but I also understand the power of our people and I am confident that, with the right focus, we can succeed together.”

We’re delighted to have Chris on board as we build on our momentum and head into the second half of the year.

Connect captures the industry’s attention

Sustainability continues to be a key priority for us and our customers. That’s why we’re proud to have launched a major new update to Connect, an online supply chain business intelligence (BI) management platform.

As well as giving customers easy access to quotes, orders and delivery tracking, Connect the ability to view, capture and report on carbon data. This feature makes it easier to view the carbon emissions associated with deliveries to site, helping customers make more informed decisions in support of their own sustainability goals.

It’s all part of our commitment to helping the construction industry do what they do better, the feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive. Headed up by our Head of Sales & Sustainability Solutions Phil Monkman, the team has showcased the new insights reporting tool at several industry events, with more planned later in the year. To find out more about our new tool, take a look at our dedicated web page here.

Celebrating construction excellence at the 2025 Facade Awards

We’re delighted to be a sponsor of the upcoming 2025 Facade Awards, which celebrate the very best in facade design, materials and installation from across the UK.

These awards are a great opportunity to recognise the talent, innovation and collaboration that drives our industry forward. From rainscreen cladding systems to high-performance insulation and finishes, we’re passionate about the role facade systems play in both a building’s  performance and aesthetic design, and we’re excited to see this year’s standout projects.

Best of luck to all the entrants. We look forward to seeing you there!

Pie Face challenge

This summer, our teams across the country got stuck in for a great cause by taking part in our very own Pie Face Challenge, raising money and awareness in support of MIND, the mental health charity.

From branch managers to office teams, colleagues across the business volunteered to take a pie to the face, all in the name of fundraising. There was plenty of laughter and plenty of mess, but most importantly, a shared commitment to supporting mental health and wellbeing in our communities.

Thank you to everyone who donated, organised and took part!

Looking ahead

It’s been a busy few months with plenty in the pipeline as we continue to develop our in-house technical expertise, supplier relationships and market-leading initiatives such as Connect.
