CCF brings home the benefits of its new data sharing tool to housebuilders

4th Sep 2025

A recent industry forum hosted by TP Managed Services brought together leading housebuilders, sustainability experts, and supply chain partners to explore the evolving construction industry landscape and the practical steps needed to meet rising reporting and compliance demands. Held at The Building Centre in London, the Housebuilder Forum featured a packed agenda of insights, innovation, and collaboration, highlighting the growing urgency around product data capture and supply chain transparency.

The event also provided a fitting introduction to Connect, our digital business intelligence platform designed to simplify product and delivery data capture across the construction supply chain. Presented by Phil Monkman, Head of Customer Sustainability and Sales at CCF, the session explored how Connect is helping housebuilders overcome the complexity of reporting by providing consistent, real-time access to product data such as environmental product declarations (EPDs), delivery metrics, waste tracking, and compliance documentation.

Phil joined Gareth Rondel, Head of Sustainability Delivery at Barratt Redrow, and Lee Jackson, Technical and WholeHouse Director at Travis Perkins, to specifically unpack the challenges and opportunities surrounding carbon data in the housebuilding sector.

The panel highlighted the increasing pressure on housebuilders to deliver transparent, auditable carbon metrics, not just for regulatory compliance, but to meet shifting customer expectations and ESG commitments.

Other sessions at the event explored the innovation landscape in renewables, skills shortages in the sector, and the importance of supply chain mapping. Speakers included Megan Adlen, Group Sustainability Director at TP plc, Campbell Ettinger, Category Director at Travis Perkins Group, and John Bullivant, Group Head of Responsible Sourcing at TP plc.

As the industry prepares for more rigorous targets and the implementation of standards like the Future Homes Standard, tools like Connect are expected to play a central role in enabling housebuilders to respond with agility and confidence.
