The day was designed to raise awareness of the latest product developments and to support contractors and specifiers as the industry prepares for the transition from BS 476 fire resistance test standards to European EN standards, which come into force in September 2029. Customers were able to get to grips with the products as well as learn more about the range via practical demonstrations and discussions with the Rockwool team.

Rockwool has acted early to ensure that the FirePro®  range is tested and certified to EN standards ahead of schedule, giving customers access to a range of products that meet the latest requirements so they can future-proof their current contracts.

The event provided an opportunity to learn more about the refreshed portfolio, which includes FirePro®  Ablative Coated Batt, FirePro®  Ablative Liquid, FirePro® Acoustic Intumescent Sealant, FirePro® High Expansion Intumescent Sealant, FirePro® Pipe Collar, FirePro® Intumescent Pipe Wrap Roll, FirePro® SoftSeal Coated Strip and Joint Seal, and FirePro® SoftSeal Flexible Coating. Each of these solutions is designed to work as part of a passive fire stopping strategy and are available through CCF’s fire protection product offering.
