CCF goes for the double with two industry award nominations
Our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our business operations has been recognised with a nomination in the Sustainable/Environmental Initiative of the Year category at the forthcoming Builders’ Merchant Awards. We’ve introduced a number of sustainable initiatives across our branch networks, including a move to HVO fuel and the greater use of electric vehicles across our warehouses and delivery fleet, as well as an exciting new carbon reporting tool that we are currently refining. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on the 24th of November and we are keeping everything crossed!
We are already extremely proud of the progress we have been making to bring our environmental strategy to life and our second award nomination recognises the work we have done to communicate the benefits to our customers, colleagues and supply chain partners. We’ve been shortlisted in the Best Use of Events and Live Marketing category at the Construction Marketing Awards for the planning and hosting of our 2023 annual business conference – which is the first ever event within the wider Travis Perkins Group to be carbon neutral for venue and travel. The winners of the Construction Marketing Awards will be announced on the 5th of December and after winning the Best Use of Internal Communications award at the 2022 event, we are hoping to secure another win.
