Overview

Single-sided universal Airtight Vapour Control Layer Tape (AVCL-Tape) for creating airtight seals against all surfaces. Good adhesion to various smooth and slightly rough substrates including timber, masonry, aluminium, steelwork, UPVC, PE and PP membranes. Particularly recommended for the airtight sealing of OSB boards, as well as membrane laps, joints, junctions and penetrations. Flexible, easily torn by hand and effective even in cold weather.

When combined with a DuPont™ AirGuard® AVCL for a complete airtightness system, maintaining a continuous airtight seal can limit uncontrolled air leakage, contributing to overall building energy-efficiency.
