Overview

Airtight Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) control barrier with a reflective surface to manage the air, vapour and thermal comfort of habitable spaces. 100% airtight with high vapour resistance to help reduce the risk of condensation within the wall elements. Reflective surface with low emissivity, intended to contribute to thermal performance when installed facing an appropriate unventilated air space.
Suitable for roof, wall and floor installation. Combine with DuPont™ AirGuard® Tape or DuPont™ Tyvek® Acrylic Tape to create a continuous airtight seal to reduce convective heat losses through the roof, wall or floor, contributing to overall energy-efficiency.
