WHAT IS THE GREEN HOMES GRANT SCHEME?

 

The GHG is an application based non-repayable grant program designed to support greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction projects and initiatives where applicants can be re-imbersed up to 75% of the eligible project costs. The government have created a list of trustmark accredited contractors which must be used in order to benefit from this scheme.

 

WHAT TYPES OF INSTALLATION DOES THE SCHEME COVER?

 

The available installations are broken down in to ‘primary’ and ‘secondary’ groups to include:

- Insulation
- Low-carbon heating
- Draft proofing
- Windows and doors
- Heating controls and insulation
