2019 Charity Update
July 2, 2019
We are proud to be supporting the UK’s leading dementia charity, Alzheimer’s Society, throughout 2019. Last year we smashed our charity target, raising a total of £104,908. So, this year we’re raising the bar again and have challenged ourselves to raising £120,000!
To ensure that we are on track to reach our new target and to discuss new ways to raise money, we’ve created our very own Charity Committee, made up of 16 volunteers across the CCF business, who will be meeting up every quarter. Already CCF colleagues have been busy raising money in their branches by hosting charity raffles, getting involved in buying or selling cupcakes and joining together to run 2,577 miles across the branch network for ‘Delivering for Dementia’ . Take a look at some of the pictures we received of the amazing fundraising activities so far!
In a bid to raise money, Delivering for Dementia involves all CCF colleagues working together to walk, run or even skip the distance of the CCF branch network which is a total of 2,577 miles! Treadmills are making their way round our four regions for branches to be able to clock the miles in this huge task. Take a look at some of the pictures we’ve already received!
