There aren’t many flooring questions that our new flooring team can’t answer. Which is just as well because their flooring hotlines rarely stop ringing.
“But that’s exactly what we’re here for,” says Steve Foster, head of our specialist flooring team, SLBM Flooring Solutions. “We can save flooring specialists a lot of time finding products to meet project specifications. We know what’s out there and what each product is capable of. When customers call us, they get straight to the result.”
Steve and his five colleagues came together in November of 2008. Their brief was to be the first port of call for any interior specialist interested in screeding, underfloor heating, raised access floors, and acoustic or thermal insulation.
They’re a close-knit team of experts with the world at their feet. Or, more often than not, in their earpieces. “We don’t mind what the call is,” says Steve, “if it involves floors, we’ll sort it out. We can help with the detail of U-values and U-value calculations or take an overview and recommend a complete flooring solution.”
