New tiles, suspension grid, modular lighting and accessories make Treetex the complete ceiling solution

The 2007 range of ceiling tiles, suspension grid and accessories from Treetex gives installers exactly what they need: a tried-and-tested system that meets the performance criteria required of modern buildings.

With the introduction of new tiles, modular lighting, accessories and the recently launched TX24 ceiling suspension grid, Treetex now offers a complete ceiling solution for installers who want products they can trust across a wide range of design criteria.

Easy to choose the right ceiling tile for your application
There are six tile types in the 2007 range. Spintone, Sahara, and Superior form a suite of general purpose tiles. Mezzanine FR, Acoustimax dB and Aquamax RH offer specific performances in respect of fire resistance, sound absorption and humidity resistance.

At the entry level of the general purpose range, Spintone provides a basic, yet reliable, performance. At the upper end, Superior offers enhanced characteristics of sound absorption, fire resistance and humidity resistance. In the mid-range, Sahara is a popular all-round general purpose choice. A range of face patterns and tile-edge details within the three types gives specifiers a choice of finished appearance.

The three tile types within the performance range help installers meet tougher performance criteria for fire resistance to structural elements (Mezzanine FR), sound absorption and insulation (Acoustimax dB) and humidity resistance (Aquamax RH).

  • Tried-and-tested TX24 suspension grid
The recently launched TX24 exposed grid is available in 600mm and 1,200mm module sizes. TX24 is a 24mm wide, demountable, butt-cut, exposed T-grid system for use with lay-in ceiling tiles. This fire-rated stab system makes for easy installation. Like the rest of the Treetex range, it's available exclusively from CCF. Treetex TX24 is compatible with all manufacturers' 24mm lay-in ceiling tiles.

Lighting advice and choice of modular grid luminaires
Choosing modular luminaires is straightforward with Treetex. Treetex's range of Combi easy-fit luminaires come with aluminium louvres for optimum light control, and are suitable for 15mm and 24mm exposed tee ceilings. In addition, the CCF team can help you choose styles and quantities for aesthetics, for emergency routes and for meeting the latest lighting regulations.

The Treetex Combi Fast-Fix luminaire comes complete with louvre lamps and low-tack film for rapid installation and wiring from below. This makes it easier to install in restricted ceiling voids.

Treetex Designer luminaires help designers improve the appearance of office lighting. This range can also be supplied with T5 lamps. The Treetex Universal luminaire includes wishbone sprung controllers, which are ideal for metal ceiling spring-tee systems, while the Treetex Zenith brings a slick look to the tightest of budgets.

Depending on your choice of luminaire, there are options for switch start, high frequency control gear and emergency lighting in case of power failure. All fittings can be supplied with Cat 2 or low-brightness louvres, and with appropriate fluorescent lamps. For those who choose standard Treetex luminaires we offer a range of prismatic diffusers.

Accessories for a complete ceiling solution
Installers can now build an entire suspended ceiling using Treetex products. Our comprehensive range of accessories includes the appropriate top fixings for anchoring to timber, concrete or metal structures. Other screws, brackets, clips, anchors and suspension materials such as threaded rods, suspension wire and galvanized metal angles complete the ceiling system.

Treetex also includes a range of access panels. They give maintenance teams ready access to the services hidden within the ceiling void.

Treetex shadow batten trims are made from predrilled MDF or timber. The battens are usually painted black, although white is an option. They make a decorative feature of the joins between the suspended ceiling and adjacent walls.
