Keeping you up to date: Everything you need to know about the PIR production shortage

What’s happening?

The PIR insulation market is facing further product shortages, as the key chemical needed for the manufacture of PIR is currently in short supply causing unforeseeable production issues.

Several manufacturers of PIR are experiencing severe delays in the production, which is resulting in a market wide shortage and extended lead times.

This is resulting in extended lead times.

What’s CCF doing about it?

At CCF, we aim to provide the best availability of products for our customers across our expansive branch network. As a result we are working closely with our suppliers and doing everything we can to manage the situation  to minimise  disruption and to ensure availability is back to normal as quickly as possible.

As a leading insulation and interior building products distributor, we understand that our customers can not afford to experience poor stock availability. A reliable service is key to ensure projects are complete on time and to budget.

We’re not willing to leave our customers in the dark without a solution. Therefore below we’ve summarised a number of alternative products to PIR insulation and how these can be used, so your work is not interrupted...
