Charity Information

CCF is keenly involved in supporting the local communities in which it operates, and donated more than £308,000 to worthwhile causes in 2006. The company greatly appreciates the efforts and kind donations made by its employees, customers and suppliers, and hopes to equal or better its donation to charities this year.

Three main charities benefit from the company's fundraising activities, NCH The Children's Charity, Mencap and ENABLE Scotland. A charity committee helps steer a variety of fundraising activities at branches nationwide throughout the year. Past events have included family fun days, carnival floats, dress up/dress down days, '3 Peaks' and '4 Peaks' Challenges, Dragon Boat racing, Car Washes and much more.

CCF also operates a “Give As You Earn” scheme, enabling our collegues to donate to the three main company charities directly from their salary, to which the company then matches their donation pound for pound. Collegues can also opt to donate to a charity of their choosing.

NCH

NCH is one of the UK's leading children's charities, helping children achieve their full potential. Through their services they support some of the UK's most vulnerable and excluded children and young people.

  Mencap

Mencap is the UK's leading learning disability charity working with people with a learning disability and their families and carers. They fight for equal rights, campaign for greater opportunities and challenge attitudes and prejudice.

Enable Scotland

ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic charitable organisation run by its members and a partner to Mencap in Scotland. It campaigns for a better life for children and adults with learning disabilities and supports them and their families to participate, work and live in their local communities.
