In 2006 The Travis Perkins Group launched employee rewards called 'Building Britain Awards' for loyalty, exceptional service and special achievements, where employees can nominate their colleagues.
The Group Management Trainee Scheme is one of the most successful of any UK business. Since it began in 1973, more than 51% of graduating trainees are still with the Group. Many are now directors.
